Evaluation of the Ecodesign Directive Methodology
The Ecodesign Evaluaton Study aims to revise the methodology used in the Ecodesign preparatory studies. The study report was submitted in December 2011 and the outcome was discussed in Consultation Forum on 20 January 2012.
The study the Update of the Methodology for the Ecodesign of Energy-using Products will extend the existing Methodology (MEEuP). The aim is to develop a Methodology for the Ecodesign of Energy-related Products (MEErP) to be used in preparatory studies for measures under the recast of the Ecodesign Directive.
The study consists of four tasks:
- Information sourcing and publicity
- Extension of the Methodology to Energy-related Products
- Update of the Methodology Report
- Update of the EcoReport Tool
