ENTR Lot 6:

Tertiary air conditioning and ventilation systems

The preparatory study on tertiary air conditioning (also called non-domestic ventilation) was launched in January 2010. Final report is expected in March/April 2012.

A clarifying note from the Commission discusses the need of harmonized measurement standards and the merging of this lot with Lot 10 (residential ventilation and kitchen hoods) and Lot 11 (ventilation fans) into one single ecodesign regulation by 2015, at the time of revision of lot 11. Alternatively, the one single ecodesign regulation would cover all comprehensive building ventilations solutions and kitchen hoods (Lot 10 and ENTR Lot 6).
