JRC seeks Grantholder to work with Assessment of Energy Efficiency Potential and PoliciesDue Date: 15 March 2012 In line with the Joint Research Centre’s mission to provide customer-driven scientific and technical support, the Institute for Energy and Transport (IET) contributes to the conception, development, implementation and monitoring of community policies related to energy. Special emphasis is given to scientific research in support of the security of energy supply and sustainable and safe energy production, both in the nuclear and non-nuclear fields. In the job the following scientific and technical tasks shall be performed for the following geographical area, Candidate Countries, Potential Candidate Countries, European Neighbourhood Policy Partner Countries and Russia:
Selection criteria The ideal candidate should have a PhD degree in engineering, physics, economics, political science, with specific focus on end-use energy efficiency policies, in particular for buildings or equivalent work experience in Country of origin of participants Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Iceland, Israel, Faroe Islands, FYR of Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey.
