Berliner Energieagentur is an international private Energy Service Company with currently 45 employees and an annual turnover of approx. 6 million Euro.

The Agency was founded in 1992 on the initiative of the Berlin House of Representatives. Equal shareholders are Land Berlin, Vattenfall Europe Berlin AG & Co. KG, GASAG Berliner Gaswerke Aktiengesellschaft and KfW Bankengruppe. The company's capital stock amounts to 2.56 million Euro.

Berliner Energieagentur aims at the reduction of energy consumption and costs in buildings and installations through the identification of energy saving potentials. Long-term cost effectiveness is guaranteed by means of energy concepts and saving strategies.
