The Danish Electricity Saving Trust
The Danish Electricity Saving Trust is an independent not-for-profit organisation under the auspices of the Danish Ministry of Climate and Energy that helps Danish consumers and public sector institutions save energy.
The Trust is financed by a special electricity savings charge equivalent to EUR 0.0008/kWh payable by households and the public sector. Total annual proceeds amount to approximately EUR 13 million.
