Go' Energi is an impartial, public organisation with a Board appointed by the Minister of Climate, Energy and Building. The remit of Go' Energi is to promote energy efficiency in Danish households, the public sector, and the commercial and industrial sectors for all forms of energy use, other than transport.

Go' Energi is financed by a special energy savings charge of DKK 0.006/kWh payable by households and the public sector. Total annual proceeds amount to approximately DKK 90 million.
