The German Energy-Agency (dena) and the French embassy invite to a German-French symposium on solar energy technologies.Main discussions will cover PV, concentrated solar power plants and the Mediterranean Union. Both countries have made major progress lately in developing solar power plants based on photovoltaic and solar thermal systems. Participants of this conference include top political, economic and research decision makers from Germany and France.  Experts will speak about the current research status and research funding, general conditions and entry strategies to the market of PV technologies and solar power plants in Germany and France. The conference also deals with solar energy within the Mediterranean Union and the overall European outlook in this field. After the presentations of research and market leaders from France and Germany, there will be time for further discussion. The conference takes place in the French Embassy in Berlin, situated on the Pariser Platz, next to the Brandenburg Gate.
