This two day interactive workshop will present the potential for commercial demand response contributions to grid security and the optimisation of renewable energies, as well as the reduction of overall systems costs and environmental impact.

The present status of demand response in Europe will be reviewed, as well existing technical and regulatory barriers, and the needed policies and incentives to foster effective commercial demand response.

The workshop will include presentations from market experts as well as interactive discussion sessions, in order to allow for the free exchange of ideas and to encourage the development of problem solving solutions.

The workshop aims to attract key representatives from utilities, regulatory authorities, policy makers, researchers, and technology suppliers. Representative will be attending both from within Europe and the USA.
