The article describes the elementary problems experienced when running a business in this area, and the process of providing this type of services from marketing, through project plans, to the carrying out and long-term provision of services. Because the activities in this area require a differentiated approach to customers, this lecture focuses on a specific customer target group – cities and villages and their street lighting, some example is given also on internal lighting in commercial and public buildings.
