2019/2024 and 2019/2018: Refrigerating appliances with a direct sales function

In December 2019, ecodesign and energy labelling requirements were published, taking effect year 2021.
Ecodesign requirements
The requirements apply to electric mains-operated refrigerating appliances with a direct sales function, including appliances sold for refrigeration of items other than foodstuffs.
Related lots
Household refrigerators and freezers (Lot 13) are regulated in by regulations 1060/2010 and 643/2009.
Professional refrigerated storage cabinets (also called service cabinets), treated in ENTR Lot 1, are intended for the storage, but not the sale and display, of chilled and/or frozen foodstuff.
