Notifications on whether the abstracts were accepted or not were sent to all authors on 24 February. Please contact the secretariat if you have not received your notification.

All peer-reviewed papers must be submitted through our online submission system. Authors of extended abstracts can also update their abstracts there.

Instructions for extended abstracts

Authors of extended abstracts can update their abstract and title in the online system until the 13 June (as long as they keep to the topic accepted by the selection committee). Abstracts can be extended to 4,000 characters including spaces.

All presenters of extended abstracts have to hand in a draft version of their presentations to the panel leaders by 13 June. The presentations can however be updated until the conference.

Instructions and pointers for the presentation will be sent to all presenters in late May.

    Authors of papers will prepare a draft paper that will be peer-reviewed and returned to the author for revision. Authors will then submit a final paper to be included in the published proceedings. Final papers – if accepted – may be short but are limited to maximum 14 pages.

    The Summer Study is intended to be a participatory event and actively seeks professionals in both private and public sectors to assist in the peer review of submitted papers. Authors of accepted abstracts may also be asked to review one or two papers.

    Instructions and pointers for the presentation will be sent to all presenters in late May.

        Conference registration

        Presenters have to register online for Industrial Efficiency 2016 – find more information about the registrations. All peer-reviewed papers are expected to have one author who registers for the conference and presents the paper.

        According to eceee policy, one person can only make one presentation.

        Please note that eceee is a non-profit organisation and cannot waive the registration fee for authors/presenters.

        Special issue of the Journal Energy Efficiency

        The best and most appropriate peer-reviewed papers will be considered for publication in a special issue in the Journal Energy Efficiency after the conference. Andrea Trianni, Politecnico di Milano, and Patrik Thollander, Linköping University, have kindly agreed to be guest editors for this special issue.

        eceee aims to generate evidence-based knowledge and analyses of policies. Our summer study papers and proceedings constitute our most important source of knowledge and information. This means that it is very important that the papers for our conferences consist of original, honest work and that the studies have been conducted in an ethical manner.
