Conference Co-Chairs 2016
The two co-chairs are part of the organisation team and take active part in the whole process: from call for papers and abstracts selection to on-site organisation and session chairing at the event itself.
Maja Dahlgren, Swedish Energy Agency, Sweden
Maja Dahlgren works with industrial energy efficiency at the Swedish Energy Agency, where her focus is mostly on multiple benefits and supply chain management. She is one of the initiators of the joint annex on multiple benefits between the two IEA Technology Collaboration Programmes DSM and IETS. Prior to joining the Swedish Energy Agency, Maja was responsible for energy issues at IKEA’s Central European Trading Area, where she motivated IKEA’s external product suppliers to invest in energy efficiency and renewable energy. Maja has earned a Bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics and a Master’s degree from Uppsala University and the Swedish University for Agricultural Sciences.
Claire Range, DENEFF, Germany
Claire Range is responsible for topics of energy efficiency in industry at the German Business Initiative for Energy Efficiency (DENEFF e.V.) in Berlin. She holds a MA in Political Science from Free University (FU) Berlin and a BA in Social Science. Before joining DENEFF Claire was as researcher at the Environmental Policy Research Centre (FFU) at FU Berlin where she worked in several projects for the German Ministry for the Environment.
