Programme

The Summer Study provides a full working week of formal but yet straightforward sessions and informal meetings. The heart of the Summer Study is the presentation and discussion of refereed papers in parallel panel sessions. Posters are presented in a session attended by all participants. Keynote speakers address plenary sessions and participants can organise informal sessions in the afternoons. In addition there are some special sessions.

Programme overview

The conference will start with the first plenary session on Monday 6 June 17.00. The Summer Study ends after breakfast on Saturday 11 June.

The registration desk opens at 11.00 Monday 6 June.

Panel and poster sessions

Please note that the schedule still might be changed. All poster presentations will take place on Tuesday afternoon 7 June. Posters will be kept on display throughout the week. For a complete list of all the 221 final papers, please see the Theme and panels page.

Informal sessions

The period after lunch most days is reserved for informal sessions in which any participant can set up a discussion on a current energy efficiency issue.

Welcome address by Summer Study co-chairs Emilie Carmichael and Holger Krawinkel.

Final conference summary and debate

The grande finale

The tradition on Friday is to conclude with a conference summary and final debate followed by a special banquet. remeber to bring your most comfortable dance shoes.
