2016/2281: air heating products, cooling products, high temperature process chillers and fan coil units

Ecodesign requirements for air heating products, cooling products, high temperature process chillers and fan coil units entered into force 2016. Guidelines were issued 2017.
The products covered by the Regulation include:
- Warm air heaters
- Comfort chillers
- Air-to-air air conditioners > 12 kW
- Water/brine-to-air air conditioners
- Fan coil units
- Air-to-air heat pumps > 12 kW
- Water/brine-to-air heat pumps
- High temperature process chillers
The requirements will be introduced 2018, 2021 and 2022. Revision is foreseen in 2022.
