The 5th Motor Summit 2014 to be held in Zürich, will bring together selected international and Swiss national experts, motor manufacturers, OEMs and industrial users to exchange information on the latest developments concerning motor systems worldwide, from an energy efficiency point of view.

The topics of the International Day on Wednesday, 8 October 2014 include the current state of European regulations and international IEC (efficiency classification) and ISO (energy management) standards, as well as experience with efficient drive technology in Australia, China, Japan and the USA.

The Swiss Day on Thursday, 9 October 2014 will inform on the Swiss motor policy (Minimum Energy Performance Standards, financial incentive program Easy) and efficient applications (pumps, fans, variable frequency drives).

On Tuesday 7 October 2014, two EMSA Workshops will be held at the same venue: Policy and Technology
