Technology and Regulations” to be held on Tuesday, July 19 2016, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (CEST).  eceee cooperates with Politecnico di Milano by delivering content from eceee Summer Studies proceedings database as support teaching materials within the master course in Energy Efficiency, Renewables, Strong Sustainability and Energy Policy (RIDEF).

The conference covers the theme of passive cooling for buildings and cities, underlying potential and technologies, suggests options to make effective the Italian legislation on the subject of deep energy retrofit and points out the opportunities provided by the revision of the European Buildings Directive. Will be held partly in English (prof. Santamouris) and partly in Italian.

Speakers:

  • M. Santamouris, Professor of High Performance Architecture at the University of New South Wales in Australia
  • V. Trivella, committee member of Renovate Italy and manager of the company Trivella Srl dealing with large energy retrofit projects.
  • L. Pagliano, Director of Master RIDEF, will moderate the debate.
