The EUBCE aims to set the bridge between the scientific and the industry communities and support policy makers, thus representing a vital reference for all the stakeholders involved in the field of biomass and bioenergy.

Knowledge transfer, sharing of best practice and networking are key tools in the valorisation of the latest R&D findings and demonstration projects, in the attainment of an increased visibility in the industry as well as in the constitution of new partnerships. To support this virtuous circle, an extensive tool has been created within the context of the EUBCE.

The EUBCE Conference Proceedings website gathers all accepted papers of plenary, oral and visual sessions as well as slide presentations, poster presentations and video files of selected sessions since the 18th EUBCE in 2010. This platform hosts more than 3,300 innovative full papers specially chosen by a specific committee of experts in the sector, for about 20,000 pages of high-level scientific and technical quality knowledge. Together with more than 4,000 slide presentations, posters and additional contents, it therefore constitutes a real reference book in the field of biomass and bioenergy.

The EUBCE Conference adopted a policy in line with EU full open access strategy to provide the maximum availability, visibility and citability of conference proceedings.

About 1,000 papers have been indexed on Scopus (the world’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviews research literature) since the 24th EUBCE in 2016.

Furthermore, a selected number of the highest-scored abstracts from 27th EUBCE will have the opportunity to be published by renowned scientific journals.
