The main objective of the conference is to contribute to a multidisciplinary, integrated planning approach to sustainable buildings, and to create a dialogue among architects, engineers, scientists, energy managers and manufacturers with the aim of reducing the energy consumption of buildings. We would be happy to review your proposal with a view to including your presentation in our conference program or poster session.

Who can apply:
Researchers, scientists and professionals, including architects, engineers, energy managers, urban planners and industry experts are invited to submit papers for presentation.
How to apply:
We will accept proposals that are either research or practice orientated. Please send your proposal in English and include the following information:
- - Paper title plus titles of 3 sub-chapters (see the 2013 program for samples of sub-chapters)
- - Author’s and co-author’s names, job titles and organization; please underline the name of the speaker
- - Phone number, email address and postal address
- - Synopsis of 300 words (abstract) with 4 key words
- - Brief Curriculum Vitae on page two of your proposal
Please put your contact information and the topic of your paper in your proposal AND your email. Proposals should be sent to: proposals@energy-forum.com by 10 March 2014. All proposals will be peer-reviewed by four members of our scientific committee. Applicants will be notified by 01 April regarding the status of their submission with detailed instructions for preparing their final papers (i.e. a template in Word format). Registration, with payment of the reduced registration fee of 380 EUR, is due by 30 April. Full papers must be received by 31 May and will be included in the conference documentation.
Those papers that are not admitted for presentation in plenary session will be considered for poster presentation. Poster presenters will present their projects during a two-minute talk in plenary session and are entitled to the reduced registration fee of 380 EUR. Posters will be published in the conference documentation.

Registration Fee:
The cost of participating at the ENERGY FORUM is €480, which includes all conference documentation, lunches and coffee breaks. Participants who register online by 30 June will receive a 20% discount.
How to get there:
The conference centre is located in the heart of Bressanone in northern Italy, close to the border with Austria. Bressanone has a train station on the Innsbruck-Verona route. The nearest airport is Bolzano (distance 40 km) which has several daily flights to and from Rome. The nearest international airports are Innsbruck (80 km), Verona (190 km), Munich (260 km) and Milan (330 km). We will arrange shuttle buses between Bressanone and the airports of Munich (pickup in the morning of 27 Oct.) and Innsbruck (pickup in the evening of 27 Oct.). In addition, there is a shuttle bus to/from Munich Airport that runs five times a day.
