Lessons from the Field, Vision to the Future

ACEEE welcomes your suggestions for session presentations that address the theme and session topics of the 2016 ACEEE Intelligent Efficiency Conference to be held December 4 - 6, 2016 at the Hilton Austin, Austin, Texas.

Submit your presentation proposals online through Tuesday, May 31, and follow the online submission instructions. Proposals will be accepted for a single speaker or for panels of speakers. Sessions are 90 minutes long and typically feature 1-3 speakers.

ACEEE's third Intelligent Efficiency Conference will convene the efficiency and technology communities to share ideas and form partnerships to advance the adoption of intelligent efficiency in the marketplace. The conference will provide an opportunity to hear from thought leaders and innovators, to learn what is happening in this rapidly evolving area, and will serve as a forum for sharing information and development of new policies, program strategies, and commercial ventures.

We are looking for proposals for presentations that feature the application of intelligent efficiency in one or more of the following categories:

  • Grid integration and distributed energy resources
  • Electricity, natural gas, water, and petroleum efficiency programs
  • Savings modeling and measurement
  • Data collection, access, analysis, and visualization
  • Emerging technologies and opportunities
  • Customer engagement and service
  • Intelligent efficiency and the environment
  • Local, state, federal, and international policy
  • Intelligent efficiency and smart cities

It will take several months to assemble the program and invite speakers. We anticipate receiving hundreds of great suggestions; therefore, submitters might not be notified about the status of their submission(s).
