Following the success of EEMODS Conferences in Lisbon (1996), London
(1999), Treviso (2002), Heidelberg (2005), Beijing (2007), and Nantes
(2009), NEMA, and the NEMA Motor & Generator Section, with the
scientific and technical support of the European Commission DG Joint
Research Centre are organizing
The 7th International Conference on Energy Efficiency in Motor Driven Systems. The Conference will be held in Alexandria, VA (USA) September 12-14, 2011.
Previous EEMODS events have been very successful in attracting distinguished and international presenters and attendees. The wide variety of stakeholders have included professionals involved in manufacturing, marketing, and promotion of energy efficient motors and motor driven systems. Segments represented come from manufacturing, academia, research, and public policy.
eemods '11 will provide a forum to discuss and debate the latest developments in the impacts of electrical motor systems on energy and the environment. Particular attention will be dedicated to energy management, defining system efficiency, standards harmonization, public policy, and system efficiency incentives.
