EU regions meet Croatia in the EU - Sustainable Energy challenge for all

This high-level event will feature Commission DG’s, MEP’s and Ministers. Political representatives from both executive and regional level will be accompanied by managing directors of energy agencies to promote strong commitment in the field of sustainable energy development.
Held under auspices of Croatian Government, the event will also have a strong political agenda welcoming Croatia's accession to EU in July 2013. Best practice by some of the most renowned European energy agencies will be showcased (South-West England, Upper Austria, City of Berlin, Basque Country and Ireland) while the Croatian counterpart will feature most successful projects (awarded by ManagEnergy Award 2011 and European Solar Prize Award 2012) represented by the Croatian capital City of Zagreb and three Counties (Karlovac, Krapina-Zagorje and Zagreb County). Dynamic of the sessions will be ensured by the events' moderator - Mr William Gillett (EACI).
The day-long programme, featuring a luncheon paired with a selection of most renowned Croatian wines to highlight the occasion, is to be held in a historic venue of Representative Office of Croatian Chamber of Economy, Avenue Palmerston 2 in Brussels.
