The "European Research Conference: Buildings", will be held on 1 March 2017 in the context of the annual World Sustainable Energy Days 2017 (WSED), in Wels/Austria!  

The conference presents new research results on energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. Conference topics include novel materials, energy storage, building energy systems, smart buildings, high performance buildings, deep renovation, renewable energy and indoor air quality.

The European Research Conference: Buildings is part of the European Energy Efficiency Conference. Six conference tracks and three interactive events will cover policies, markets, business models, research & innovation, technologies, financing and best practice solutions. Fees: 100 Euro (plus 10 % VAT) for the European Research Conference: Buildings. Participation in this conference is also included in the fee of the European Energy Efficiency Conference (300 Euro, includes 6 conferences and 3 interactive events). The World Sustainable Energy Days 2017
The conference is an integrated part of the World Sustainable Energy Days, one of Europe’s largest conferences on energy efficiency and renewable energy. The event is organised by the OÖ Energiesparverband, the energy agency of Upper Austria. Upper Austria is an ideal location for such a conference: due to consistent policies, there are already more than 1,000 buildings meeting passive building standard and several thousand "Nearly Zero Energy Buildings" in the region. In 2016, the Word Sustainable Energy Days attracted more than 700 participants from 57 countries.
