The European Commission – DG ENERGY is pleased to invite you to the High-Level Policy Conference "Europe’s leadership in renewable energy – towards strategic partnerships after COP21", organized in the context of the Sustainable Energy Week 2016. This event will bring together high-level speakers, including Adnan Amin - Director General of IRENA, Laurence Tubiana - French ambassador for international climate negotiations (tbc), Jean-Louis Borloo - President of 'Energies for Africa', Marco Attisani - CEO of Watly and Dominique Ristori - Director General of DG Energy. Taking COP21 as the starting point, the participants will discuss how renewable energy can be promoted around the world and the role that strategic partnerships between Europe and other countries can play in this regard.

The conference will be held from 16:00-17:30 on 14 June in the Charlemagne Building (Rue de la Loi 170, 1000 Brussels). The conference will be followed by the European Sustainable Energy Awards. To find out more about this conference..
