The International Energy Agency’s fourth annual Global Conference on Energy Efficiency will take place in Dublin, Ireland, on Monday 24 June.

Irish Prime Minister, Mr Leo Varadkar, will open the invitation-only event, which will feature ministers, CEOs and heads of international organisations.

Building on the success of previous events, we expect high-level participants from more than 50 countries. The conference will be an opportunity to develop global understanding of energy efficiency’s key role in the transformation of the global energy system and the key policy options available to governments.

A particular focus will be the impact of digitalisation on energy efficiency, and the lessons learned from leaders around the world.

The third annual conference, held in Paris in October 2018, featured a long list of dignitaries including energy ministers from Finland, Estonia and Japan, the CEOs of Schneider Electric and Scania, as well as leading figures from international organisations and NGOs.

More information about the 4th annual Global Conference on Energy Efficiency will be made available in the coming weeks.
