Now in our 20th year, the ISSST is independent of its past affiliation with IEEE.  The 2013 ISSST incorporates a broader spectrum of topics and an improved networking space for engineers, scientists, and business organizations producing and exchanging new knowledge related to sustainable systems and technologies.  Please use the links below to access the on-line resources that will help you participate 15-17 May 2013 at the Marriott Kingsgate hotel in Cincinnati, OH!

Students are especially encouraged to attend and can participate in special paper and poster competitions, judged by leading academics and researchers from government and industry.

This conference was known between 1993 and 2008 as the IEEE International Symposium on Electronics and the Environment (IEEE ISEE). In 2008, the scope of the conference was broadened to all industries and products while still maintaining a focus on the sustainability of information and communication technology (ICT) services. The new scope further strengthens a premier event on sustainable technology issues. Accordingly, the name has been changed to International Symposium on Sustainable Systems and Technology (ISSST).
