The Forum is co-organised by the Energy Charter Secretariat, Energy Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and supported by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Mr. Alexander Novak.

The Forum will gather representatives of Energy Charter member governments, key figures from the energy industry, regulatory authorities, regional and international organisations and think tanks, and will focus on the challenges in attracting investments, which underpin mid- and long-term international energy security goals.

Discussion will be organised in three sessions:

  • How to achieve long-term energy security in times of economic challenges?
  • Asset swaps in the international energy sector: versatile tool or case-specific solution?
  • Promoting investment flows: what is vinegar, what is honey?

The Forum will take place at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO), 23 Profsoyuznaya Street, Moscow. The languages of the Forum will be English and in Russian, simultaneous interpretation will be provided.

Participation will be by registration only and will be limited to 100 people. Please note that the registration deadline is 28 March 2014.
