Header Motor Summit 2012

Electric motors and motor systems in industrial and infrastructure applications together with pumps, fans and compressors in buildings, are responsible for 45% of the world's total electricity consumption. New and existing technologies offer the potential to reduce the energy demand of motor systems across the global economy by 20% to 30% with short payback periods, if market barriers can be overcome.

The Motor Summit 2012 will bring together selected experts from research, government, utilities, motor manufacturers, OEMs, motor systems users and other interested parties. Participants will debate strategies and actions to overcome barriers hindering the widespread use of highly efficient motor systems in Australia, China, European Union, Japan, Switzerland, USA and other countries.
