It is our great pleasure to invite you to share your perspective, experiences and knowledge in our event »Sustainable and competitive: the bioeconomic future of the EU«.

Climate change, biodiversity loss, resource scarcity, increasing global population: all pose huge challenges to humanity. The bioeconomy, through its technology, goods, and knowledge, provides solutions. It is our chance to make a significant contribution towards a more sustainable economy and way of life. 

On September 20, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft invites you to discuss its Roadmap for the Future Development of the Circular Bioeconomy and these key questions: 

  • What are the scientific and technological potentials and challenges of the bioeconomy till 2035?
  • Where will applied research promote a market ramp-up of the bioeconomy meeting ecological and socioeconomic needs?
  • Which kind of political framework conditions are needed to achieve this

Be inspired to work with us on solutions for the four application areas of bioeconomy: Nutrition, biomass material utilization, CO2 value creation and socio-economic aspects of the bioeconomy.
