Take part in the largest European event dedicated to local sustainability and meet more than 1500 leaders in local sustainability! 

The Dunkerque 2010 conference will explore how sustainable development represents an answer to the impacts of the current economic, social and climate crises. It will also explore ways in which NGOs and other environmental organisations and local authorities can collaborate and build successful two-ways communication partnerships to improve quality of life and push sustainable development further in Europe, under the actual financial and political frameworks.

More than 1500 participants are expected to take part in this event. We invite you to meet:

  • Local governments leaders and experts from all over Europe and other countries
  • Representatives of European and national networks of local governments
  • High level representatives of European institutions and international organisations
  • Strategic partners from the private, non-profit and academic sector.

Share your initiatives and experience at the conference
Organisations  involved in sustainable development at the local level are invited to share their knowledge with other participants and apply for a presentation space in the Agora, a place of assembly and exchange where participants can meet, present and discuss local initiatives.
