The Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) accepting entries for 2018 Energy Management Leadership Awards

This global awards program recognizes leading organizations for their energy management achievements and use of ISO 50001 to address energy and climate challenges. Organizations certified to ISO 50001 are invited to submit case studies for recognition.
Submission deadline: 24 January 2018. Top winners will be honored at the ninth Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM9) in in the cities of Copenhagen, Denmark, and Malmö, Sweden in May 2018. The CEM brings together energy ministers and high-level officials from 24 member countries and the European Commission to accelerate the global transition to clean energy. All organizations that submit qualifying entries will be recognized for helping to build global insight on the benefits of energy management systems.
Register to attend an informational webinar on 2 November 2017. The webinar features Andrew Cooper, Energy Specialist for New Gold’s New Afton Mine in Canada, a 2016 CEM Award of Excellence in Energy Management winner. Mr. Cooper will share his experiences and tips on preparing entries.
All qualifying case studies will be published on the CEM’s Energy Management Working Group (EMWG) website as an inspiration and resource for others.
