The World Sustainable Energy Days are organised by the OÖ Energiesparverband, the energy agency of Upper Austria. The region of Upper Austria is a European leader in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy. Already 36% of the region’s energy demand is supplied by renewable energy and the target of 100% renewable electricity and space heating by 2030 has been set.
