The workshop started with a short briefing and introduction to the various technology options by the workshop chair.

We have culturally and historically developed different labels and endorsement labels. What are the virtues of the various systems (endorsement vs informative, continuous vs categorical, and how can different systems be made compatible). This session follows on the morning sessions' work about defining similar banding and testing procedures. What are the best products to work with? After the presentations there will be ample time for discussion led by the chair.
