Energy in Demand (EID) is an an independent view of our global carbon-neutral energy transition.  With a focus on Europe, it considers global developments in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and the policy context of climate change. It started in January 2012 as an on-line information service. EID first started in 1990 as a quarterly newsletter and continued through to 1999. EID is edited by Rod Janssen, an independent expert on sustainable energy, based in Paris and London.  EID has been a sponsor of recent eceee summer studies and industry efficiency conferences.
