Transfer booking from/to train stations and airport - Updates:
- More seats available from Toulon 16:50 and Hyères 17:15 on Monday (26 May)
- A new transfer option is available from Hyères on Monday night 6 June at 20:10 (20 May)
- The first transfer bus on Saturday morning 11 June to Hyères and Toulon SNCF has a changed departure time. The bus will leave slightly earlier, at 7:00 am. If you were booked on that bus (previously scheduled for 7:20), no need to reconfirm. (20 May)
Travel – Bus transfer booking and taxi sharing
We strongly recommend train travel. Whereas we had to increase bus transfer fees in general to reflect the higher price to rent buses, we have decided to lower the fees between the venue and the railway stations.
Transfer buses
As in previous years, we offer transfer buses to and from Toulon and Hyères SNCF train stations as well as Nice airport.

taxi sharing
eceee will set up a dedicated taxi sharing page as soon as we have received requests. If you have a taxi to share or if you look for a ride, please email us to summerstudy@eceee.org and let us know the following:
- Going from where and when
- Going to
- The number of people (who need a ride or you can offer a ride)
- How to reach you. eceee will not arrange sharing, just post the info. Please note that we will publish phone and email unless you request differently.
When do I need to get there?
The conference will start at 18.00 [sharp!] on Monday 6 June with the opening plenary. The conference ends after breakfast on Saturday 11 June. If you wish to stay before or after the conference, please contact summerstudy@eceee.org for more information.
There are many services for buying train tickets. Trainline is one that offers cheap train and bus tickets for travel across Europe.

By train to Toulon or Hyères
Hyères SNCF is the closest railway station to the venue. However, Toulon SNCF, 19 km from Hyères, has many more direct connections. Local trains along the Mediterranean coast also pass through Toulon, including several direct connections a day from / to Marseille and Nice.
Direct connection: There is one daily direct TGV connection between Paris Gare de Lyon and Hyères in each direction.

Taxi and Uber:
- From Toulon SNCF to Belambra Les Criques it will cost you approximately €55 in daytime, €80 after 19:00.
You can book a taxi by contacting the Belambra reception. Make sure to do it at least several hours in advance.
From Hyères SNCF, you have to queue at the taxi station in front of the train station. It will cost you approximately €35 in daytime, €55 after 19:00. -

By air to Toulon-Hyères (TLN)
Toulon-Hyères airport (TLN) is very close to Belambra Les Criques. It takes about 15 minutes by taxi/car to get to the venue.
No bus transfers offered from Touloun-Hyères airport.
The airport is very small and it is easy to arrive and depart from this airport, which serves the following destinations with direct flights: Paris Orly, Brest, Brussels, London city, London Stansted, Liverpool, Southampton & Rotterdam.

By air to Nice (NCE)
Nice airport (Aéroport Nice Côte d’Azur, NCE) is 152 km from the venue.
Taxi from Nice airport to Belambra Les Criques will be approximately €290 in daytime, and €350 after 18:00.
You can book a taxi by contacting the Belambra reception. Make sure to do it at least several hours in advance.
Nice airport also is very convenient for car rental.
Nice SNCF railway station: located in the centre of the city of Nice. Many trains a day connect Nice and Toulon railway stations. Bus 99 offers regular service between Nice airport and Nice SNCF.
By air to Marseille (MRS)
Marseille airport (Marseille Provence, MRS) is 117 km from the venue. You can the shuttle to the railway station and then the train to Toulon.
No shuttle service offered by eceee.
Taxi fare from Marseille airport to Belambra Les Criques will be approximately €210 at daytime, €270 after 19:00.
You can book a taxi by contacting the Belambra reception. Make sure to do it at least several hours in advance.
Marseille airport is convenient for car renting but the traffic through Toulon may be very slow at rush hours.
By car
Free parking is available at Belambra Presqu'île de Giens.
