Storage technologies for renewable energies are a trending topic: only with smart technology the energy transition for a cleaner world can be accomplished. From 15-17 March 2016 the 10th International Renewable Energy Storage Conference (IRES) and Energy Storage Europe (conference + expo) organize the biggest meeting of researchers, storage experts, operators, consultants and interested participants. The conference with the two thematic focuses on “Research and Policy” (IRES) and “Business and Finance” (ESE) offers a broad conference program that will inform each conference participant about their specific scientific interest.

With only one ticket you can visit all sessions, the exhibition and the networking events. Until 31 January, you profit from a reduced early bird rate for the 3-day-pass and day-tickets. Instead of 1,950€, early birds pay 1,750€ (excl. VAT), day tickets are available from 560€ (excl. VAT). As a matter of course, EUROSOLAR-members receive special conditions for the visit of the conference and the IRES-sessions. Sessions are as diverse as ranking from Battery Technologies (IRES-Session A4, 16 March at 08:30am) or Decentralized Storage Solutions (IRES-Session B3, 16 March, 11am) to Thermal Energy Storage for the Increase of Efficiency in Industry (IRES-Session D2, 17 March at 08:30am). In each session international experts will talk about their particular research making the visit of a conference worthwhile for researchers and the interested public. Next to the sessions a poster exhibition will present a diverting insight into the individual research of 100 international researchers and established institutes. Further, the trade exhibition of Messe Düsseldorf displays the latest technologies. Synergies are easily built during a talk at the exhibitions, the conference sessions or the networking events.

Included in each conference ticket is the access to the two networking events on the evenings of 15 and 16 of March. During the reception and dinner-party we are setting the right space for you to debate the latest technologies with your fellows and tie new contacts with potential project partners.
